If you've never hired a mobile notary before, it's hard to know what you should expect to pay. I offer free estimates on my website, broken down by service. These prices are not set in stone, but they do give you an idea of what's included. Some of the things that are taken into consideration when a mobile notary provides a quote are:
- Distance from their home.

Some notaries charge per mile, and others have a ladder for pricing out a range. For instance, 10-30 miles away might be charged a local rate while 30+ miles is considered at regional rate.
- How the documents are received.

If the documents are sent electronically, the notary must do some additional work to have them printed properly on the proper paper with a legally acceptable printer. You can expect an additional charge if this is the case.
